GETTING FROM THE AIRPORTS TO HERTFORD NORTH STATION:

Information on making your own way from the airport to the GNSH, using trains, taxis or coach services. You may want to use these sites to help you plan your journey :

TRAVELLING BY COACH

  • Take a National Express coach from London Stansted, Luton Heathrow or Gatwick airport, which stops outside Tesco in Hertford Town Centre. This may be slower, but cost vary from as little as £7 - £27 single and £12 - £38 return, depending on the airport you are travelling from.
  • From Tesco Hertford, the venue is only 5 mins away by car or Taxi. (You can probably ask in store for a taxi if open)
  • Taxi cost should not exceed £7.00 for single journey.(Taxi numbers listed below)

By British Rail Train from London Stansted Airport

  • Take a train from Stansted airport going to Liverpool street station.
  • Come off the train at Tottenham Hail station.
  • Take the underground train from Tottenham Hail to Finsbury park station.
  • From Finsbury Park mainline station take the overground train to Hertford North station
  • A single journey is approx £12.70, a return journey is approx £17.90 per person.
  • From Hertford North station the venue is only 5 mins away by car or Taxi. (Taxis may be available outside station, see bottom for Taxi ranks)
  • Taxi cost should not exceed £7.00 for single journey.(Taxi numbers listed below)
By British Rail Train from London Luton Airport
  • From Luton airport take the FREE airport bus to Luton Parkway Station
  • Take the train from Luton Parkway to London St Pancras station
  • There is a short walk to Kings Cross mainline station, catch a train that takes you to Hertford North station. Journey time is approx 30mins
  • A single journey from Luton airport to Hertford North is approx £20.70 and a return journey is approx £33.80.
  • From Hertford North train station the venue is only 5 mins away by car or Taxi.

By British Rail Train from London Gatwick Airport
  • Take a train from the airport to Kings Cross Thames link station.
  • Walk to Kings cross mainline station, and take a train to Hertford North station. Journey time is approx 30mins on a direct train from Kings Cross.
  • A single journey from Gatwick to Hertford North is approx £14.50 and return journey is approx £29.00
  • From Hertford North train station the venue is only 5 mins away by car or Taxi. (Taxis are available outside station, see bottom for Taxi ranks)

By British Rail Train from London Heathrow Airport
  • Take the underground 'Piccadilly line' train from Heathrow Terminal 1,2 or 3 to Kings Cross Station.
  • Head for Kings cross mainline station, then take a train to Hertford North station. Journey time is approx 30mins on a direct train from Kings Cross.
  • A single journey from Heathrow airportto Hertford North is approx £19.70.
  • From Hertford North train station the venue is only 5 mins away by car or Taxi. (Taxis are available outside station, see bottom for Taxi ranks)
