REGISTRATION ON ARRIVAL
Official Registration will be open from 6.00pm on Friday 18th of February 2011 at the GNSH reception, in 'Attlee' (then moved to Big School for the rests of the weekend), Haileybury, Hertfordshire. Here, you will be able to pick up your workshop schedule, maps, general information about the weekend and GNSH 2011 T-shirts.
Follow directions for GNSH and you will find us in 'Big School' (Main GNSH Building). For those staying at Haileybury, local hotels or BB's, we suggest you check into your rooms before you register at GNSH.
WORKSHOPS - 4:00PM - 8:30PM
Due to the amount of dancers that arrived in Hertfordshire on Thursday night and Friday morning in 2010, we are planning to start workshops
from 4.00pm onwards, at Hertford Heath Village Hall, approx 10- 15 mins walk from Haileybury.
WELCOME DINNER - 7:30PM - 8:30PM
This is a great way to start the weekend, particularly if you've just left work or got off a long haul flight.. . It's an opportunity to relax, chat and tuck into a 3 Course Dinner, including some scrummy puddings... mmhhh.. all compliments of GNSH, so you've got lots of energy for the weekend ahead. It's also a good time to hear all the latest information about the event.
CLASSES & ADVANCED AUDITIONS - 8:30PM - 9:30PM
There will be a range of one hour taster classes just after dinner.
For those already registered for Advanced Plus classes, you will need to attend the Auditions at 8:45pm, in Atlee Hall, prior to taking part in any advanced classes.
WELCOME PARTY & SWING BAND - 9:30PM - 3:00AM
Here you'll get the opportunity to check out the teachers and meet up with old and new friends from around the world.
This year the entertainment will be an international 'swing band', which makes GNSH even more value for money. However, we will still host a wide range of DJ's from around the world.
THE FRIDAY SWING BAND
In addition to the DJ's we have decided to add an amazing swing band.
Many people enjoy the Friday because of the huge variety of music that all the UK and international DJ's add to the night, giving you lots of time to burn some shoe leather on the dance floor till late.
