	GNSH 2012 Band Confirmed - 02/01/12 Once again we will be having 100% Swing Bands, playing at GNSH. We are proud to announce the UK's very own internationally acclaimed 'Shirt Tail Stompers', who have played at a number of key swing dance camps and Lindy Hop Competitons across Europe. So far we have over 400 swing dancers, coming from 4 continents and 21 countries including: USA, Canada, France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic, Wales, Netherlands, Scotland, Israel, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, Australia and all over the UK We just need 5 more male leads to make it perfect :-) . Spaces in Balboa and Authentic Jazz - 11 /1/12 Whilst the Lindy Levels are relatively full. We still have spaces for 5 couples in Balboa and 7 people in Authentic Jazz tracks. Whilst we know most hotels in the area are getting full, please contact us if you need accomodation or transportation from the airport. Information regarding bands, will be announced soon. :-) Hotel Accomodation Alert - 15 /12/11 Good news. We've managed to get some more Twin rooms in the Marriottt Hotel. However, these may be King Size bed and a Large Sofa bed, instead of 2 beds. Anyone who booked early will be gauranteed 2 beds in their twin rooms. Most of the other hotels are also getting full. If you have not sorted you're accomodation yet, please do so immeadiately. 18 Male Leads Wanted - 12 /12/11 Although most of the GNSH 2012 Lindy levels have reached their numbers a few weeks ago, on reviewing the ratios, we could squeeze at least 18 more Male leaders in the Lindy Hop tracks, as we would definitely like to get half of the followers of the waiting list before we close bookings. GNSH 2012 Teachers announced - 28/11/11 We are very sorry for the delay with announcing the teachers this year.. However with hundreds of dancers registered for GNSH 2012, it's time for JiveSwing.Com to announce the teachers and that the legendary "Ms Norma Miller", one of whitey's lindy hoppers and original dancer from the Savoy Ballroom will be coming back to GNSH for a third time, along with 'Chazz Young' a dancer from the Savoy Ballroom and son of 'Frankie Manning' followed by a line up of the worlds top international teachers. We will also be joined by a swing orchestra tba soon. Dancers are coming from 4 continents and 22 countries including: Austria, USA, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic, Wales, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Israel, Portugal and all over the UK BALBOA: We are aiming to have balboa ONSITE this year, with 2 - 3 sets of top international teachers. There are currently spaces for 8 couples, if you wish to book for balboa. Only 69 Places left for GNSH 2012 - 18/11/11 We are now down to only 69 tickets for GNSH 2012. The discounted prices end on 30th November 2011 and most levels are getting full, so please register online now... to ensure you get a space and at the level you want. Single followers that register without a male lead, will be kept on a waiting list, until the next single male lead books on or they recommend a male partner of any level to book on mentoning the followers name in the comments box when registering.However you must register to be on the list! We know space in most of the hotels and B&B's in the area is getting low, so please contact us as soon as possible if you are having problems finding accommodation. Onsite Accomodation & Hotels getting low - 1/11/11 With dancers now coming from more than 20 countries and 5 continents, there are now only 2 mass accomodation rooms left onsite, which are filling up very quickly. If you are from abroad and require onsite accomodation, book NOW.. There are also now only 10 spaces left in the main Hotel. Once again if you haven't booked accomodation.. Please do so immediately. Don't get stuck without accomodation. Over 50% of tickets sold in first 3 days - 15/09/11 Apologies to anyone awaiting confirmation of booking. Online bookings have come in extremely fast over the last three day. Due to some technical issues with our new database, we have a back log of applications to process and will aim to confirm to everyone by NEXT weekend. Over 50% of tickets have already been sold within the first 3 days of GNSH 2012 booking lines opening. So far we have dancers coming from 4 continents and 12 countries. As a result, we expect onsite accommodation to go very quickly. Please book ASAP to gaurantee your place in the right level, particuarly if you are Intermediate or Int/Advance. Registration opens Monday 12th Sept - 04/09/11 Thanks for all your enquires and apologies for the delay. Our registration and technical team are working to get a brand new and efficient registration form ready for you. Booking lines will open at 9:00am on Monday 12th September 2011. We advise booking as soon as booking lines open to guarantee accommodation and a place on the workshops at your level, to avoid disappointment. If you are from overseas, it is extremely important to book early to get on-site accommodation as this will go very very quickly.
