ALISON MARSH

For the first time, making her debut as a teacher at GNSH is Alison, who storms from the fast growing Hertfordshire swing scene in the UK.

As an engineer, by day for a major water works company, Alison has no hesitation in piping up!

Alongside her passion for Lindy Hop, Alison has a background in drama and a keen focus on Authentic Jazz movement, which adds to the fun and dynamics in her classes and on the social dance floor.

In addition to being though the extensive JiveSwing.Com Teacher Training Course(s), she has learnt from the best international Swing Dance teachers at GNSH and other major international Swing Dance Camps in the USA and Europe.

She teaches weekly Lindy Hop classes and workshops in Hertfordshire , but has also taught and performed for organisors across the UK and Europe.

Alison also performed as part of Swing Attack, in the world famous Royal Albert Hall and London's most prestigous events in 'The Ideal Home Show and Canary Wharf. She was a dancer in the latest 'Yolanda be cool' music video in 2010.

Regarding competition credits, Alison took 2nd place in the Prague International Lindy Hop Competition 2009 and competed in one of the worlds toughest competitions, the 'Hellzappopin Contest' 2009 held in New York

Alison will be teaching with Chris at GNSH so watch out for lots of fun and drama in their classes.
